Roles and responsibilities:
1. Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in areas relevant to the lecturer's expertise (according to expertise). This involves preparing and presenting course materials, including lectures, readings, assignments, and assessments.
2. Participate in the development and updating of the curriculum for courses. This may involve designing new courses, updating existing courses to reflect current legal developments, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
3. Assist on developing MQA and JPT documentation for new programmes.
4. Pursuing research and academic writings for publications using the institution's name.
5. Provide academic advising and support to students including mentoring students and offering guidance on academic and career pathways.
6. Design, administer, and grade exams, assignments, and other assessments. Provide constructive feedback to students to facilitate learning and improvement.
7. Serve on academic and administrative committees that contribute to the governance and operational effectiveness of the college. This may include participating in accreditation processes, college hiring, and policy development.
8. Design and implement innovative and effective teaching methodologies to facilitate language acquisition and proficiency development.
9. Contribute significantly to academic services, collegiality and engagement and external community engagement activities relevant to the discipline/profession.
10. Contribute to the development of strong collaborations with other universities and with government, industry and/or civil society to drive educational excellence.
11. Contribute to the management of education, research and/or administration in the institution including coaching, mentorship, leadership and effective performance management.
12. Participate in academic and non-academic matters.
13. Any other tasks as directed by your Head of Academic.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
