Job Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of organisation-wide data governance policies, processes and standards.
- Drive the adoption of data governance practices, including data standardisation, metadata management, data quality, data security and data lineage.
- Build and maintain a centralised indicator/KPI platform, ensure consistency of data definitions and work closely with Business, BI and Data Warehouse teams to enable reusability and service-oriented use of key indicators.
- Implement data classification and access control standards, including audit trails, approval workflows and data masking.
- Maintain a unified data asset catalogue to ensure data can be easily discovered, tracked and utilised by relevant stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or related field.
- At least 3 years of working experience in data governance or data platform related areas.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written) and able to use it as a working language.
- Solid understanding of data governance concepts and tools such as metadata management, data quality, data catalogues, data standards, data security and lineage.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Flink, Kafka, Doris and Iceberg.
- Good understanding of data modelling concepts, with working knowledge of SQL and scripting (Python/Shell/Scala).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams and drive the implementation of governance standards.

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM24,000.00 per month
