Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with strong Power BI skills and a solid financial background to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making, especially within the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and financial reports using Power BI.
- Work closely with finance and business teams to understand reporting needs and KPIs.
- Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Design and build data models and ETL processes to support self-service analytics.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of financial data and reports.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to improve reporting workflows.
- Translate business questions into data queries and actionable insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
- Financial background is Mandatory.
- Proficient in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and dashboard development.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
- Strong skills in Excel, and experience with SQL or other database querying languages.
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with ERP or financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
- Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes.
- Microsoft Power BI or Data Analyst certification is a plus.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
