- Investigative and analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent English written/communication skills.
- Knowledge of different types of incidents, threats, threat behaviors, protection, and detection mechanisms, etc.
- Flexible, independent, proactive working attitude, result-oriented
- We only accept internship students with 5 to 6 months internship period.
Job description
- Monitor network activity and logs for signs of potential threats or vulnerabilities.
- Assist in the detection and investigation of suspicious activity or incidents.
- Run basic vulnerability scans using tools
- Assist with documenting and prioritizing vulnerabilities and remediation efforts.
- Help perform internal security audits for systems and applications.
- Assist in maintaining compliance checklists
- Support configuration and monitoring of antivirus, firewall, and endpoint detection systems.
- Assist the security team with triaging alerts and preparing incident reports.
- Participate in mock incident response drills and document response steps.
- Write or modify simple scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate repetitive tasks.
- Support configuration of SIEM tools
- Shadow cybersecurity analysts or engineers to learn processes and tools.
- Attend internal training sessions, meetings, or briefings related to cybersecurity
- Help draft or review security policies and standard operating procedures.
- Document security processes, incidents, and system configurations.
