About the Role:
We’re looking for a strategic thinker and results-driven Corporate Planning Manager to lead company-wide planning initiatives and align key corporate functions with business objectives. Reporting directly to the President & Executive Director, as well as to regional and HQ stakeholders, you’ll play a critical role in driving performance, overseeing KPIs, managing budgets, and contributing to long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Strategic Planning & Performance Management
- Drive the development and execution of strategic business plans, including Hoshin, MTBP (Mid-Term Business Plan), and GPM initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate company-wide performance through continuous improvement of corporate performance frameworks.
2) KPI / KRI Governance & Budget Control
- Oversee the MTBP budgeting process and collaborate with various departments to establish and track KPIs/KRIs.
- Conduct periodic reviews and performance analysis to ensure goals are met across all planning horizons.
3) Corporate Reporting & Business Intelligence
- Prepare insightful management reports and business presentations by integrating operational and financial data.
- Provide analytical support to top management for decision-making processes.
4) Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the main point of contact between internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Support strategic communications, business development initiatives, corporate events, and cross-functional collaborations.
5) Strategic Projects & Business Expansion
- Lead and support high-impact corporate initiatives including profitability analysis, value chain development, and long-term growth strategies.
- Handle ad-hoc strategic reporting and planning tasks as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
1) Academic & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CFA will be an added advantage.
2) Experience & Skills
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate finance, or business performance roles.
- Strong business acumen with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and business intelligence platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of 6 Sigma, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies is a bonus.
- Willingness to travel for regional or project-based assignments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM9,500.00 per month
