Experience level: 1-3 years
- Produce clear, SEO-friendly, succinct, and engaging product descriptions, against own brand guidelines. Aimed at meeting customers' demand for information and help improve their understanding of the product offering on the e-commerce portal. When writing copy, you must consider keyword density and prominence, tone, style, and readability. You must have copywriting experience writing product descriptions for beauty & personal care brands.
- Also develop and deliver outstanding copy that supports the business commercial priorities. Ensuring all copy requirements are developed and delivered on time to meet client and brand expectations/requirements for the category, events and promotional projects.
- Through copy you will decide how best to call out a product’s key selling points using features and benefits to relate to the customer and inspire them to purchase the product without being too salesy.
- Understanding of how beauty & personal care product descriptions & F&B should be written.
- Work with the team to fully understand the production required, then own the execution of that plan to deadline and the right standard.
- Develop positive working relationships across the product induction and buying team to make sure the content is produced and published on time.
- Ensure the accuracy, quality and on-brand tone of voice of all your own work.
- Ensures translation of assets for the needs of local markets
- Implementation of product and promotional content from the clients’ asset libraries
- Translating content analytics and performance reports into meaningful recommendations to optimize site and app content “on-the-fly”
- Works with local market teams to prioritize requirements for site and promotional content
- Assess and act on content performance reports
- Proactively highlighting and assessing key finding from campaign, content, and customer service reports
- Work closely with campaign strategy, content management and customer service teams to integrate findings into future actions and ways of working.
Understanding of digital production workflow. • Strong content analytic skills • Experience working with content management systems and online platforms • Working knowledge of commerce platform and content uploading • Ability to manage client expectations with regards to KPI’s and benchmarks • Ability to work across different time zones • Working knowledge of commerce & content platform experience (Lazada, Shopee, Tokipedia, Amazon, etc...) • Highly organized, detail oriented, and results focused • Working experience with content / document management on SharePoint • Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). • Knowledge of SEO, analysis, and site optimization Ability to provide insights/recommendations to the client requirements/needs (SEO standards, digital marketing tactics, etc.) • Awareness of digital trends • Cultural awareness and international experience
