Job Responsibilities
As a CNC Programmer (Mastercam), you will:
- Prepare toolpaths and G-code for CNC machines using Mastercam software.
- Set up CNC milling or lathe machines to produce components according to specifications.
- Interpret and work with technical drawings from AutoCAD or draftsmen.
- Monitor machining processes to ensure accuracy, precision, and product quality.
- Troubleshoot issues in collaboration with the Production and QC teams.
- Ensure compliance with company safety SOPs and operational standards.
Job Requirements
- Education: Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or CNC Programming.
- Experience: At least 3 years in a similar role.
- Proficient in Mastercam programming for CNC machines (milling or lathe).
- Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC machine settings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and verify measurements.
- Prior experience in a CNC factory or workshop is an advantage.
- A reliable team player with attention to detail and safety.
Working Hours
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 5-day work week
- Overtime: Based on operational requirements
Salary & Benefits
Pay: RM 2,600 – RM 3,000 per month (commensurate with experience)
