This is a fixed-term contract employment for 6 months. If the contract is successfully completed and both sides are satisfied, there have high chances to be converted as permanent employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machining centers to manufacture precision parts based on blueprints and technical drawings.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to ensure machining accuracy and compliance.
- Program, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC machines using CAM software or manual programming where required.
- Monitor machining operations, inspecting parts for quality and accuracy using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
- Perform routine machine maintenance, calibration, and cleaning to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and resolve machining issues such as tool wear, machine errors, or deviations in part quality.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate production records and document completed work for traceability.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in CNC machining is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming (e.g., G-code, CAM software such as Mastercam, Siemens NX, or equivalent).
- Skilled in using precision measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM).
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes for quality and efficiency.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Able to work shifts and overtime as required.
