We currently have an exciting opportunity and are looking to recruit a Client Manager (Auditor) for Digital Trust
About the role
We have key positions available for this role as a Client Manager (Auditor) in the Digital Trust Sector to build a strong team of professionals at a country level.
Applicants will be part of a dynamic team of specialists involved in conducting various types of audits and working closely with BSI clients to help them improve their performance by assessing their systems and processes against ISO and BSI standards. Your key responsibilities in this role will be to:
Play a pivotal role in auditing their organisation or products against the relevant national and international information security and IT service standards
Prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients to ensure client understanding of the assessment decision and clear direction to particular items of corrective action, where appropriate
Conduct various types of audits as a Team Leader or Team Member
Recommend the issue, re-issue, or withdrawal of certificates, and report recommendations in accordance with BSI policy, procedures, and prescribed time frame.
Maintain overall account responsibility and accountability for nominated accounts to ensure an effective partnership, whilst ensuring excellent service delivery and account growth.
Lead assessment teams as required, ensuring that team members are adequately briefed so that quality of service is maintained and that effective working relationships are sustained both with clients and within the team.
Provide accurate and prompt information to support services, working closely with them to ensure that client records are up to date and complete and that all other internal information requirements are met.
Coach colleagues as appropriate, especially where those members are inexperienced assessors or unfamiliar with clients' business/technology, and assist in the induction and coaching of new colleagues as requested
Plan/schedule workloads to make the best use of own time and maximize revenue-earning activity.
Build great relationships, learn about their business and products, and with your audits, allowing them to achieve the state of enhanced and sustainable Digital Trust
Be responsible for delivering BSI’s audit services to assigned clients in accordance with all our schemes and regulatory requirements
Ensure timely, cost-effective service delivery that satisfies our customers' needs

Risk-based thinking and process approach, as well as synthesizing information to prepare summary reports.
About you
To be successful in this role, you need to thrive in a process-driven, fast-paced, customer-focused environment and have the ability to make impartial decisions, quickly and efficiently, based on facts. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail. You must be self-motivated and can remain calm whilst managing numerous priorities. Good IT and systems skills are essential.
You will also be required to have:
professional education or training to an equivalent level of university education in Information Technology/Computer Science/Cyber Security or similar field preferred, or have a further education diploma with proven experience in information technology services, information security.
Experience in working in full-time practical workplace experience in information technology (Minimum experience of 4 years in industry, with at least two years in a role or function relating to Information Technology and/or Information Security)
Qualified Lead Auditor/Auditor for any related 3rd party or industry requirements would be an added advantage. Experience in conducting and delivering assessments on schemes such as ISO20000-1, ISO27001, CLOUD Security, etc. is essential and would be an added advantage
Proven knowledge of how a business operates to ensure appropriate interpretation of management system standards
Demonstrate thorough technical knowledge to be able to interpret the language of the Client organisation
Learning ability to keep up with changes to business, industry, management thinking, and developing assessment styles
Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills, as well as energy, passion, and commitment
It is essential that you are qualified in a minimum of three (3) of the following standards. This is a prerequisite to be considered for these roles:
ISO 27001 (ISMS)
ISO 20000-1 (SMS)
ISO 22301 (BCMS)
Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA),
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM),
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
