Marifah International School is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and creative Grade 2 Class Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching young learners and capable of fostering an engaging, supportive, and dynamic learning environment. This role involves teaching core subjects including Mathematics, Science, English, and Art, while ensuring the holistic development of students academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Math, Science, English, and Art, aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and overall student performance.
- Integrate technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and colleagues to support student development.
- Participate actively in school events, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
- Fulfill supervision and substitution duties as assigned, ensuring student safety and discipline.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience with young learners, preferably in an international or bilingual school.
- Strong knowledge of teaching methodologies for primary education.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into classroom instruction.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
