- Developing unique and cuisine-appropriate menus
- Collaborating with the GM and Directors to set item prices
- Staying current on developing trends in the restaurant industry
- Maintaining the kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations such as HACCP etc.
- Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness at all times
- Monitoring inventory and purchasing supplies and food from approved vendors
- Training and supervising kitchen staff (if any)
- Ensuring standards in meal preparation, creation, plating and delivery
- Ensuring Halal standards for food service and preparation
- Identifying and introducing new culinary techniques
- Taking care of DIY food station and making sure it is clean, stocked and ready for use by guests
Perkhidmatan & Penyediaan Makanan
- Membangunkan menu yang unik dan bersesuaian dengan masakan
- Bekerjasama dengan GM dan Pengarah untuk menetapkan harga item
- Sentiasa mengikuti perkembangan trend dalam industri restoran
- Menyelenggara dapur dan kawasan sekitar dalam keadaan yang memenuhi piawaian syarikat dan peraturan kod kesihatan seperti HACCP dsb.
- Mengekalkan standard kebersihan dapur yang tinggi pada setiap masa
- Memantau inventori dan membeli bekalan dan makanan daripada vendor yang diluluskan
- Melatih dan menyelia kakitangan dapur (jika ada)
- Memastikan piawaian dalam penyediaan makanan, penciptaan, penyaduran dan penghantaran
- Memastikan standard Halal untuk perkhidmatan dan penyediaan makanan
- Mengenal pasti dan memperkenalkan teknik masakan baharu
