Job description :
- Category Manager has the responsibility to maximize top & bottom line for their specific categories.
- They accountable to drive market shares of their specific categories with strong product range, good in competition and consumers analytics, contributes in creation and execution of the sales & promotion plan, and develop their plans & strategies to achieve categories financial goals.
- Work closely with Senior Category Manager / General Manager to understand the product & assortment strategy & execute it within the timeline & budget
- Develop range architecture based on consumers insights, market knowledge & data, stores cluster & target shoppers
- Identify product range gap & source potential new products
- Develop & execute comprehensive category plans & strategies; included sales & margin mix, promotional sales plan, projects
- Forecast sales of new items, promotional & seasonal products and drives critical decisions in allocations, promotional discount, clearance in order to maximize category sales, margins and stocks
- Drive day-to-day operational improvement by working closely with cross functional division such as Operation, Supply Chain, Marketing
- Identify new suppliers, select suppliers for the products range, lead negotiation with them on pricing, terms & conditions, stocks planning & supply
- Work closely with existing suppliers on products range, performance, inventory & supply & explore collaborations
- Deliver daily, monthly, yearly revenue, margin with meet company's target
Requirements :
