Cashier – Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Cashier to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will handle customer payments accurately, deliver friendly and professional service, and ensure smooth cash operations at all times.
Job Requirements
- Minimum education: High School/Vocational School or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in the restaurant/hospitality industry, is an advantage.
- Familiar with operating cash register/Point of Sales (POS) system.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and cash handling.
- Detail-oriented, honest, and responsible.
- Well-groomed, friendly, and has good communication skills.
- Able to work efficiently and under pressure, especially during peak hours.
- Willing to work on shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
Job Description
- Process customer transactions accurately through POS system.
- Handle various payment methods (cash, debit/credit, digital).
- Ensure cash balance accuracy before and after shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier area.
- Provide friendly service and support to customers during payment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
