Responsibilities :
- Conducting market research to understand pricing trends, quality standards, and potential supply sources.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior to inform product selection and category management.
- Develop and implement effective buying strategies for the fruits division to achieve sales, margin, and inventory turnover goals.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to secure cost savings and support profitability targets.
- Manage and nurture relationships with suppliers while evaluating vendor performance to ensure quality and reliability.
- Stay informed on industry developments, market changes, and competitive pricing strategies to maintain a strong market position.
Job Requirements :
- Preferably a degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience/training.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in fruits procurement, retail, or the food service industry.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Communicate in Mandarin when necessary to handle supplier negotiations & sample requests.
- Travel to China if necessary.
- Willing to travel to Distribution Centre Bukit Beruntung, Rawang (travel allowance provided).

- Block A, Kelana Business Centre, 97, Jalan SS7/2, 47301, Petaling Jaya.
Salary :
- Salary is negotiable based on experience.
