Job Description
As a Business Process Management (BPM) Engineer at SanDisk, you will support the analysis, documentation, and improvement of business processes across Global Operations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will assist in identifying inefficiencies, analyzing data, and helping to implement data-driven solutions that improve workflow efficiency and support decision-making.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business process optimization, data analytics, report automation, and digital transformation initiatives. You will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to projects that drive operational excellence through continuous improvement and scalable process design.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct business process mapping and assessments to identify gaps and areas for improvement in current workflows.
- Lead projects requiring coordination and management of global resources, ensuring transparency and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Collaborate closely with business units to ensure cross-functional project progress aligns with scope, timeline, and original ROI expectations.
- Assist in documenting and analyzing business processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the creation of business requirement documents, test cases, and proof-of-concept efforts.
- Support the development of dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Spotfire.
- Help gather and analyze operational data to support business decision-making.
- Participate in automating manual processes and reports to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and IT teams to support the rollout of new process and data solutions.
- Promote a continuous improvement mindset by applying lean and agile methodologies and deploying advanced analytics solutions.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Academic or internship experience in data analysis, reporting, or process documentation.
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative in process improvement and automation efforts.
PREFERRED:
- Exposure to process mapping or workflow tools (e.g., Visio, BPMN tools).
- Basic knowledge of programming or scripting (e.g., Python, SQL, R).
- Interest in data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
SKILLS:
- Detail-oriented with a curiosity for understanding how things work.
- Comfortable working with data and translating it into actionable insights.
- Willingness to learn technical tools and participate in process optimization initiatives.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
