Job Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Finding new business opportunities with B2B customers.
- Building strong relationships with these potential clients.
- Working with leaders to increase our market share.
- Positioning us as a leader in sustainable logistics.
- Helping us reduce environmental impact while providing excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Find and chase new B2B business with companies focused on sustainability.
- Build and manage relationships with key people at potential client companies.
- Work with our internal teams to create custom logistics solutions that meet client needs and sustainability goals.
- Research the market and competitors to stay updated on industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver strong presentations and proposals to new clients.
- Track sales performance and make sure targets are met or exceeded.
- Represent the company at industry events to showcase our sustainable solutions.
- Provide feedback to help us improve our future products and services based on what clients need.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in logistics, e-commerce, or FMCG.
- A strong grasp of B2B sales, especially in logistics and last-mile delivery.
- A passion for sustainability and a desire to contribute to environmental change.
- A proven history of bringing in international clients.
- Experience managing high-value clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- The ability to work on your own and handle several projects in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a similar field.
