About This Role:
We are looking for an intern to help our Chief Visionary Officer to write and publish a book. You will learn how a book is developed — from editing and layout to printing and marketing. This is a great opportunity for students who enjoy writing, reading, and creative work.
What You Will do:
- Edit and check grammar in the book draft
- Help organise and improve the content
- Support the author with writing and updates
- Assist with layout, cover design, and printing
- Find photos or info needed for the book
- Help prepare marketing content and book launch materials
Requirements
- Currently pursuing at least Diploma in Mass Communication/Journalism/ Marketing & Business
- Required language(s): English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Google Docs and basic layout tools is a plus
You will be great at this role if you are:
- Have a passion for writing, storytelling or publishing
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Have a good interpersonal, communication and time management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM600.00 - RM800.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Nusajaya (Johor Bahru): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
