Key Responsibilities:Electrical Maintenance & Operations
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot 11kV electrical systems including switchgears, transformers, and distribution panels.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections of electrical installations and systems.
- Ensure power supply reliability for all critical retail operations (e.g., lighting, refrigeration, HVAC, POS systems).
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all electrical work complies with Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga – ST) regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain updated records of electrical systems, inspections, and maintenance logs.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies, outages, or system failures.
Facility Support
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for electrical-related works or system upgrades.
- Support the facility management team in other building maintenance activities when required.
- Conduct regular energy audits and recommend efficiency improvements.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain all electrical licenses, testing reports, and technical documentation.
- Prepare reports on electrical system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid BO Chargeman Certificate (11kV) issued by the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) – Malaysia.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in handling 11kV electrical systems, preferably in a commercial or retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and Energy Commission compliance.
- Able to work independently, handle emergency breakdowns, and perform hands-on troubleshooting.
- Willing to work on a shift schedule, weekends, or public holidays if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in retail malls, supermarkets, hypermarkets, or commercial buildings.
- Familiarity with building management systems (BMS), generator sets (gensets), UPS systems, and fire alarm panels.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
