BM and Sejarah Teacher (Primary)

Location: Subang jaya Campus

Job Summary:
UCSI Schools is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Primary Bahasa Melayu and Sejarah (History) Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will inspire young learners with a strong command of the Malay language and cultivate a deep appreciation for Malaysian history and culture. This role focuses on fostering language proficiency, critical thinking, and national identity in primary students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and curriculum-aligned Bahasa Melayu and Sejarah lessons for primary school students.
• Design lesson plans, instructional resources, and assessments in accordance with KSSR (Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah).
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and academic support to encourage continuous improvement.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student engagement, respect, and curiosity.
• Integrate national values, historical awareness, and language development into daily teaching practices.
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers to ensure consistency and progression in the Bahasa Melayu and Sejarah curriculum across year groups.
• Participate actively in school events, co-curricular activities, parent-teacher conferences, and community engagements.
• Pursue continuous professional development and stay updated on effective teaching methods in language and history education.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Bahasa Melayu, History (Sejarah), Education, or a related field.
• Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., Diploma in Education, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Bahasa Melayu and/or Sejarah at the primary school level.
• Strong classroom management skills, along with effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to nurturing students’ academic skills, historical thinking, and love for Malaysian heritage.
• Passionate about education and the holistic development of young learners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
