- Site Location : Pasir Gudang, Johor
- To carry out blasting and painting works on metal structures and equipment in accordance with safety, quality, and project standards, holding valid CIDB competency certification or IMM certificate
- Perform abrasive blasting to clean and prepare surfaces (remove rust, scale, old coatings).
- Ensure surface profiles meet project specifications and standards (e.g., ISO/SSPC).
- Maintain blasting equipment and materials for safe and efficient use.
- Apply primers, intermediate, and finishing coats using spray, brush, or roller.
- Ensure correct paint mixing, thickness, and quality per specification.
- Perform touch-ups and repairs on coated areas when necessary.
- Follow all workplace safety requirements, including use of PPE and confined space rules.
- Handle hazardous materials and coatings in compliance with HSE and environmental guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with CIDB and site regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid CIDB Green Card and Blaster/Painter Certification.
- Proven experience in industrial blasting and painting works (oil & gas, marine, or construction preferred).
- Knowledge of surface preparation and coating standards (ISO/SSPC/NACE).
- Physically fit to work at heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, or public holidays if required.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 18 months
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
