We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Automotive Foreman to lead our vehicle service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, and be capable of supervising technicians, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining workflow in the workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations in the vehicle service workshop
- Assign tasks to mechanics/technicians and monitor job progress
- Diagnose vehicle issues/Test drive and provide technical guidance to team members
- Ensure all service and repair work is carried out efficiently and according to standards
- Perform quality control checks before vehicle handover
- Manage workshop schedule and ensure timely delivery of serviced vehicles
- Communicate with service advisors or customers (if needed) regarding repair status
- Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety, and equipment condition (5S)
- Provide training or coaching to junior technicians
Requirements:
- Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Technology or related field
- Experience in vehicle servicing, with supervisory experience preferred
- Strong technical knowledge in automotive systems (engine, brake, suspension, diagnostics, etc.)
- Able to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
