We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Audio-Visual (AV) Technician to join our team in Sepang, Malaysia. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for various events and installations.
- Set up, operate, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, video cameras, and display screens
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently
- Install and manage cable systems for optimal performance and neat appearance
- Process and manage audio and video signals to ensure high-quality output
- Collaborate with event organizers and clients to meet their AV requirements
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on AV equipment
- Assist in the design and implementation of AV solutions for various spaces
- Provide technical support during events and presentations
- Keep up-to-date with the latest AV technologies and industry trends
- Maintain accurate inventory records of AV equipment and supplies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Audio-Visual Technology or related field (preferred)
- 1 year of experience in AV technology or a related field
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining various audio-visual equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with cable management and installation techniques
- Knowledge of audio and video signal processing
- Familiarity with various AV formats and standards
- Basic networking skills
- Understanding of event production and live streaming technologies
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
