Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and experienced Assistant Logistics Manager (Night Shift) to oversee warehouse and logistics operations during night hours at our Klang facility. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth and timely dispatch, inventory accuracy, and overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has solid logistics experience, leadership capability, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all night shift logistics and warehouse operations
- Supervise and guide the night shift team to ensure optimal performance and task completion
- Oversee sorting, scanning, dispatch, and stock movement processes
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records
- Enforce compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and SOPs
- Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate when needed
- Generate shift reports and ensure effective communication with the day team
- Assist in training and onboarding new team members on night shift procedures
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in logistics or warehouse supervision, preferably in night shift operations
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficient in WMS systems, inventory tools, and MS Office applications
- Physically fit and willing to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Working Hours:
- 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (subject to operational needs)
