Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure payments are accurate and timely
- Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices
- Monitor backlog invoices and direct teams to reduce backlog
- Review vendor reconciliation and address overdue items
- Ensure KPIs for Accounts Receivable and Payable are met, including timely invoice processing and payment
- Develop action plans to help the team achieve KPIs
- Verify and review supplier payments, staff commission claims, and trade applications
- Develop and implement SOPs and internal control procedures
- Ensure timely submission of Inland Revenue Board (IRB) tax returns and compliance
- Manage Tax Planning and Compliance
- Review statutory audit reports, inventory management, and Debtors Ageing Report
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, etc.
- Lead, coach, and manage the finance team effectively
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as requested by management
Job Requirement:
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a related role with managerial responsibilities
- Good command of Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (spoken and written).
- Own transport and valid driving license
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
