Job Description
The Assembly Operator performs assigned product assembly, testing and rework operations in the manufacture of X-Ray equipment.
- Perform assembly, test and rework of sub-assemblies and final assembly of units by following written work instructions, blue prints and schematics
- Follow process, policies and procedures and accurately complete manufacturing and test documentation as required
- Support and participate in lean manufacturing initiatives such as Kaizen events, Cycle Counting, 5S etc
- Comply with company health, safety and environmental policies
- Comply with all applicable corporate and regulatory export control and security regulations.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Forklift experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a team and meet production deadlines.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
