The Retail Admin is responsible for supporting the daily operations of our hardware store, including assisting the store manager with documentation, stock control, customer coordination, invoicing, and various administrative duties to maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Assist the store manager in handling administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
2. Manage incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accurate receipt and recording of inventory.
3. Communicate with supply chain and manage orders to maintain adequate stock levels.
4. Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting with sales.
5. Prepare invoices, process payments, and maintain billing records.
6. Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENT
1. Proven experience as an administrative assistant, related role is preferred.
2. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
3. Familiarity with inventory management and basic accounting principles.
4. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn other software systems quickly.
5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
8. High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
Working Hour :
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm & Saturday 8:30am - 12:30pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
