Gadek Nursery, based in Melaka and Cheras, is a nursery that offers a variety of high-quality trees, including ornamental, flowering, and fruit trees. We also provide planting advice to customers and plant enthusiasts. We are currently looking for an efficient, fit, and energetic ADMIN CUM CASHIER to help fulfill our customers' orders.
The Admin cum Cashier role combines administrative and financial tasks, including:
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Manage office supplies and maintain filing systems.
- Handle office correspondence (emails, calls, mail).
- Provide customer service and support.
- Handle weekly orders (plants, fertilizers, pots and gardening supplies).
- Monitor and update inventory records in system for plants, fertilizers, pots, and gardening supplies.
- Maintain and update databases for financial records.
- Provide proactive support to colleagues, ensuring smooth collaboration and overall team efficiency.
Cashier Responsibilities:
- Process payments (cash, credit cards, online payment).
- Operate cash registers and issue receipts. (opening & closing)
- Balance cash drawer and prepare daily sales reports.
- Make sure that every new item that comes in has a price tag and that the price tag is always displayed near the tree.
- Handle monthly audit to check stock data in line with the system.
- Assist in inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Ensure the office and cashier area remain clean, organized, and presentable.
