Senior Accounts Executive/Accountant
1. Financial Reporting (MFRS Compliance)
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
- Ensure all financial records and statements reflect the company’s financial position and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Support external audit processes, liaising with auditors and providing required documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated accounts for the group, where applicable.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all accounting and reporting activities.
2. General Ledger (GL)
- Oversee the maintenance of the General Ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and reconciled on a timely basis.
- Review and post journal entries and accruals.
- Ensure monthly GL closing activities are completed within deadlines.
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts periodically.
- Monitor intercompany transactions and ensure timely reconciliation.
3. Accounts Payable (AP)
- Supervise AP team in processing supplier invoices, staff claims, and payment transactions
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments according to company policies.
- Review aging reports and coordinate with procurement and operations teams to resolve disputes.
- Maintain good relationships with key vendors and ensure compliance with credit terms.
4. Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Supervise AR team to ensure timely issuance of invoices and collections.
- Monitor customer accounts, follow up on overdue payments, and handle disputes.
- Review aging reports and prepare periodic AR analysis.
- Work closely with the sales and operations teams to align on billing and collection schedules.
5. Team Supervision & Leadership
- Lead and supervise the GL, AP, and AR team members, providing guidance and support in day-to-day operations.
- Conduct performance evaluations and recommend training or improvements for staff development.
- Ensure proper allocation of tasks, work planning, and continuous process improvement within the finance function.
6. Internal Controls & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process and system improvements, and participate in the implementation of new accounting systems or automation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
