Job Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain a set of accounting documents, records and filings
- Handle full sets of accounts and all financial reporting activities
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
- Prepare monthly cash flow reports, statutory financial statements and consolidated accounts
- Prepare management and financial statement analysis reports
- Prepare and participate in the annual external audit process, annual internal audit process, and monthly and yearly account closing processes
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretary and governmental agencies as required by our company
- Maintain proper finance reports and filling system at all times
- Assist on administrative or other duties from time to time as required by management
Job Requirements:
- Possess an LCCI, ACCA, CIMA, or related diploma/bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- At least 3 years of experience in an accounting department
- Familiarity with book-keeping and basic accounting procedures
- Lengthy experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting Systems
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Interpersonal qualities to work independently and with teams
