Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Accountant in daily accounting and finance tasks.
- Assist in the preparation of accounting journals, billings, postings, and monthly reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of payment vouchers, cheques, and payment requisitions.
- Assist with research, filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
- Liaise with the operations department, external auditors, holding company, banks, and other external parties where necessary to obtain information and confirmations for compliance purposes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Perform other finance-related administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preference will be given to degree students).
- Preference will be given to candidates with strong English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software is an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
