Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Handle bank reconciliations and general ledger entries.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure tax compliance.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
- Monitor and improve internal accounting controls and processes.
- Support management in financial decision-making with timely insights.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
