Accountant

Financial closing & reporting

• Perform monthly and year-end closing, including preparation and posting of journals, accruals, and adjustments for holding companies in Malaysia and Singapore.
• Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements, audit schedules, and internal reports.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS/IFRS and internal group accounting policies.
• Support weekly and monthly financial reporting, including tracking actuals, budget vs actual variances, and cash forecast updates for management.

Audit & Statutory Compliance

• Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Coordinate with company secretary on statutory matters such as board resolutions and company filings.
• Liaise with tax agents to prepare and submit the yearly corporate tax computation for the holding company.
• Ensure proper application of accounting standards, cut-off procedures, and tax requirements.

Payment & staff claims processing

• Process vendor payments, staff reimbursements, and intercompany settlements accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare & monitor forecast cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Perform bank reconciliations, manage online banking platforms, and maintain banking documentation.
• Liaise with banks for transactions, documentation, and account management.

Group & Intercompany Coordination

• Work closely with subsidiaries and departments for intercompany transactions and financial data submissions.
• Support group level reporting, consolidation, corporate finance projects, and ad hoc projects or assignments that management may deem fit.

Requirement:-

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with at least 1-3 years of working experience.
• Professional certification (e.g, ACCA, CPA , CIMA) is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast pace environment.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
