- Assist day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable (e.g., subcontractor postings) and related entries.
- Request, verify, and process invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Assist monitor subcontractor and supplier accounts, including certification, retention sums, and payment schedules.
- Ensure proper filing, documentation, and maintenance of accounting records in line with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Support the preparation of reports for management review (e.g., project expenditure vs. budget, outstanding claims, and cash flow).
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and project-related financial reporting.
- Liaise with project teams and Quantity Surveyors (QS) to obtain supporting documents and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide administrative support for finance-related matters such as filing, labelling, and document organization.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 1 year of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in the construction or property development industry (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and project accounting processes.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (experience with accounting systems such as AutoCount is an added advantage).
Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team member.
Ability to meet deadlines and follow up effectively.
