The Account Executive will be responsible for full set account, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with budget planning. Additionally, the candidate will ensure reduce costs, compliance with local tax laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
ACCOUNTABILITY
- Responsible for each branch business outlet, the full set of accounts, accuracy and timely reporting.
- Responsible for full set account (AP & AR recording) including preparing financial reports.
- Suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues and improve profits.
- Ensure sufficient cash flow before any payments are arranged and update all monies received from sales into accounts receivable and general ledger.
- Check petty cash and be aware of the large amount of spending.
- Assist in fixed asset management.
- Manage expense claims, and ensure prompt cash collection and payment
- Maintain bank transactions (including supplier payment and payroll transactions) in the accounting system
- To check and prepare all payments, including cheques, telegraphic transfers, bank drafts, bank guarantee and banker acceptance.
- Be involved in stock-take activities.
- Comply with the accounting standard and SOP.
- Make sure to fully understand the purpose of all the payments and get approval before the payments can proceed.
- Liaise with tax agents, corporate secretary, external auditors and bankers.
- Maintain proper record keeping and organisation of the filing system.
- Provide auditing services for businesses and individuals.
- Prepare the financial materials for the annual audit requirement.
- Perform outlet sales activities (promotion, discount) checking and analysis
- Perform and participate in cost analyses and productivity studies
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
- Degree or diploma in Accounting.
- 3 years of experience with full-set accounting.
- Deadline-orientated and able to stick to time constraints.
- With data analysis capability and financial acumen.
- Attention to detail and ability to probe further into data.
- An analytical mind with solid problem-solving skills.
- Good computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Candidates must be willing to work at Business Eco Park V, Puncak Alam.
