Key Responsibilities:
1. Review reconciliation of merchant statements, cash receipts and POS reports;
2. Ensure timely and accurate recording of sales in the accounting system;
3. Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of Accounts Payable. To check and reconcile invoices with Statement of Accounts and ensure all documentations are in place with proper approvals for posting into accounting system.
4. Responsible for preparation and processing of bank payments, employee reimbursement and petty cash
5. Perform Month-End Closing; bank reconciliation, inventory report, maintain accounting schedule and management reports for reporting and statutory compliance
6. Prepare SST Submission
7. Assist with audit/tax schedule preparation and liaising with auditors and tax agents
8. Liaise with external suppliers/bankers when necessary
9. Ensure timely and accurate recording of accounting entries into accounting system
10. Maintain good documentation and filing system
11. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
1) Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or above (candidates who are currently pursuing these qualifications will also be considered)
2) At least 2 years hands-on experience in maintaining full-set of accounts and managing full finance activities
3) Candidate with F&B industry experience is preferred
4) Knowledge of Microsoft excel (Vlookup and Pivot Table) and Quickbook Online will be advantageous
5) Good communication and interpersonal skills
6) Required language: English, Malay, Mandarin
