Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports inclusive of all approval of accounting entries, income statement, balance sheet, cashflow statement, tax computation, and any other relevant reports needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to management.
- Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts based on historical data and projected trends.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and following up on outstanding receivables.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations, and assist with tax planning strategies.
- Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/Professional qualification in Finance/Account/Accountancy or equivalent with minimum of 5 years working experience.
- Familiar with Construction and Property Development Industry is an added advantage.
Required skills:
- Strong accounting knowledge and well-versed in Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
- Strong knowledge of consolidation principles, financial reporting software, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
- Committed with strong sense of responsibility and able to work within deadline.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Well versed in Microsoft Office and preferably with knowledge in using developer system.
- Knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
