JOB OVERVIEW
The Account Assistant / Executive will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing financial records.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining data entry in company accounting system
- To supervise and coordinate all the accounting activities of the assigned projects and/or functions including preparation of timely and accurate accounts and management reports.
- To verify the accounting transaction to ensure sensible of expenditure.
- To monitor and control of budget set by the Project Director.
- To assist in formulating and implementing finance and accounting methods and procedures.
- To liaise with debtors and creditors on all financial matters.
- To liaise with the Project Manager, Engineers, and Supervisors to facilitate the smooth operation in accounting and documentation procedures.
- To ensure proper filing of accounting documents to facilitate smooth retrieval of required documents and information.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance to senior management.
- Maintain financial records in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Willing to learn.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Candidate must possess at Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting and Finance / Professional Qualification such as ACCA / MACPA / CIMA or its equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years related working experience in accounts.
- Experience in Auditing and Taxation Services will be an added advantage.
- Candidate must be willing to work in Puchong.
- Able to work in team and work independently.
- Ability to work in automation, following up on the matter and solving matter.
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Knowledge in Financial Management, Microsoft Office; Excel, Words, UBS Accounting System
- Written and verbal communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (will be an advantage)
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
