What You'll Do:
You'll be at the forefront of ensuring quality and compliance, overseeing crucial welding operations from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
- Guaranteeing all welding adheres to stringent AWS, ASME, and API standards.
- Performing meticulous inspections throughout fabrication and installation stages.
- Reviewing essential documentation like WPS, PQRs, and welder qualifications.
- Collaborating effectively with QA/QC teams, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Maintaining comprehensive inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
What We're Looking For:
- A valid AWS-CWI certification is a must-have.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in welding inspection.
- Proficiency in SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW welding processes.
- A deep understanding of international welding codes and standards.
- The ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and welding symbols.
- Fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
