Key responsibilities :-

Understanding technical drawings to determine material requirements and fabrication methods.

Using tools like plasma cutters, saws, and presses to prepare metal pieces for welding.

Joining metal parts using various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.

Smoothing and preparing welds for a finished look, ensuring quality and safety.

Checking for proper penetration, fusion, and overall quality.

Assembling and constructing metal parts and products according to specifications.

Following safety procedures and ensuring the cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment.

Working with engineers, designers, and other professionals to plan and execute projects.

Ensuring tools and machinery are in good working order.

Skills and Qualifications :-

Welding expertise : Experience and proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.).
Metal fabrication knowledge : Understanding of metal properties, cutting, shaping, and joining processes.
Blueprint reading : Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Tool operation : Experience with hand and power tools used metal fabrication.
Problem-solving : Ability to identify and resolve issues related to welding and fabrication.
Attention to detail : Ensuring precision and quality in all tasks.
Physical fitness : Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks.
Safety awareness : Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a fabrication environment.
