Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Warehouse Executive to manage and oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will ensure that all warehouse activities, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and dispatch, are carried out efficiently, in compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring timely and efficient stock levels.
- Monitor stock movements and assist in regular stock takes and audits.
- Report on inventory discrepancies and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Order Fulfillment & Dispatch:
- Supervise the picking, packing, and shipping of products according to customer orders.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Ensure all shipments are properly documented and dispatched on schedule.
- Warehouse Operations:
- Ensure the smooth daily operation of the warehouse, ensuring optimal space utilization and operational flow.
- Monitor and manage warehouse equipment and ensure they are maintained in good working condition.
- Implement and maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations.
- Conduct regular safety checks and training sessions for warehouse staff.
- Report safety hazards and contribute to improving safety practices in the warehouse.
- Team Supervision:
- Supervise and support warehouse staff, providing guidance on best practices and ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Assist in performance evaluations and provide recommendations for team development.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal), knowledge of Malay is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (physically fit).
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
