About the Team
The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly-contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated.
The Chief of Staff will be a key player in navigating the intricacies of external processes and providing strategic guidance to the company's leadership. This role requires a highly organized and strategic thinker who can collaborate with internal stakeholders, particularly management and country leads, to drive the successful implementation of company goals.
Responsibilities
1. External Relationship:
- Develop a deep understanding of external processes and regulations relevant to the company's operations
- Act as a bridge between industry regulatory authorities and business. Follow up on various policies and regulations, and effectively communicate and interpret them, to promptly report the industry's development, achievements, difficulties, or suggestions to regulatory authorities as a key external spokes person
- Key point of contact with regulatory officials, industry stakeholders, trade associations, and proactively identifies opportunities to deepen collaborations with key stakeholders for the region assigned
- Advise and guide the management team on navigating external relationships and local regulatory landscapes
2. Strategic Guidance:
- Work closely with the Country Lead and executive team to formulate and articulate strategic initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to ensure the company's goals are aligned with regulatory requirements and priorities.
3. Internal Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management and country leads, to gather insights on regional challenges and opportunities.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments to ensure cohesive implementation of strategic initiatives.
