Your role is to oversee and manage all aspects of ticketing sales and distribution for travel-related services, such as tours, attractions and events. You are responsible for managing the daily ticketing operations, ensuring efficient operations, optimal ticket inventory and the implementation of effective ticketing strategies.
- Manage the end-to-end ticketing operations, including ticketing sales and distribution.
- Create and execute plans to optimise ticket sales, manage inventory and enhance the customer experience.
- Ensure efficient allocation of tickets, manage ticket availability and prevent overbooking or under-utilisation of inventory.
- Negotiate fares, contracts, and commissions with suppliers or travel partners to secure competitive rates.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints and ensure a positive ticketing experience.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including airlines, hotels, travel partners and internal departments to ensure smooth business processes.
- Managing and mentoring ticketing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Track sales data, analyse trends and generate reports to support decision-making.
- Implement quality assurance measures and process improvements for ticketing operations.
- Manage agent debit memo reconciliation and billing.
- Ensure compliance and keep up to date with the relevant regulations and company policies related to ticketing and travel.
Job Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Have minimum 1 year of experience as a Ticketing Executive.
- Excellent knowledge of the ticketing system.
- Strong knowledge of airline ticketing rules, fare calculations, refunds, exchanges and reissues.
- Pro-active and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as participate within the team.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a mature attitude and be a good team player.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities.
- Possess own transport.
