  • Job description

  • Support the organization within every area of facilities maintenance and maintain and sustain the mall facilities from time to time.

    • Maintenance of building & structure, electrical and mechanical system such as; Air Conditioning, Mechanical Ventilation, Elevator, Escalator, Fire-Fighting installation, Hoisting, Natural Gas, PA System, CCTV System, Card Access System, Sewage Pre-Treatment Plant, Grease Trap, Pump, Water Fountain, Sump Pit, Floor, Roof, Walls, Signage, Plumbing and BMS.
    • Carry out corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance.
    • Carry out inspection, testing and maintenance using ITM checklist.
    • Attend on Tenants complaint.
    • Assist or support Supervisor and Senior Supervisor in the daily operation.
    • Perform on daily/weekly/monthly checklist inspection on Yardi.
    • Perform and monitor the Work order / Job request management.
    • Asset tagging.
    • Monitor and attend to contractors and sub contactors for maintenance work.
    • Electrical, Working at Height, Hot Work and Confined Space Entry safety awareness/ prevention.
    • 5S.
    • Green building and energy efficiency projects.

  • Qualification
    • MLVK / SKM / Certificate or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Air Conditioning / Building or Mechatronic.
    • Chargeman, Wireman or CIDB Certificate. (will be added advantage)
    • 1 to 3 Years Relevant Experience.

    • Basic math and measurement skills: A good FM technician should have basic math and measurement skills to calculate quantities, sizes, and weights.
    • Effective communication skills: FM technicians must communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to coordinate maintenance activities, provide updates, and report issues.
    • Ability to work independently: FM technicians should be able to work independently, making decisions and solving problems on the job site.
    • Flexibility and adaptability: FM technicians must be flexible and adaptable to work in different environments, handle multiple tasks, and respond to changing priorities.
    • Commitment to learning: A good FM technician must be committed to continuous learning, staying up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in the industry.
