Part-Time Mathematics Marker / Assessor (Remote, Johor Bahru)
Pay: approx RM4,500/mo full-time equivalent; part-time pro-rated (state typical weekly hours or hourly rate)
Work type: Part-time, Remote (weekend availability required)
Travel: Singapore office once per term for team meetings
About the role
Join Myko Education as a Mathematics Marker/Assessor supporting learners aged 12–18. You’ll grade student work, provide clear written feedback, and surface insights to senior teachers—so students progress faster, and our curriculum keeps improving.
What you’ll do
- Mark assignments, quizzes and exams using provided solutions (GCE/VCE/IB aligned)
- Give concise, student-friendly feedback and improvement steps
- Flag misconceptions/trends to senior teachers; suggest fixes to items/rubrics
- Turn around marking within agreed SLAs (including weekends)
- Collaborate remotely; attend once-per-term Singapore meetings
What we’re looking for
- Trained teacher with a recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed/PGCE/Teaching Diploma)
- Strong content mastery in secondary Mathematics (IGCSE/VCE/IB familiarity a plus)
- Excellent English (spoken & written)
- Detail-oriented, consistent marking; comfortable with EdTech tools
- Based in/near Johor Bahru; passport-ready for Singapore visits
