Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented
- Interpret technical plans, drawings (e.g., SIP, Bonding Plan, Cable Plan, book of circuits), and documents to guide installation work.
- Plan site activities, manage, and supervise installation schedules to meet project milestones.
- Supervise subcontractors on-site to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards during all activities, including main signals, shunt signals, line-side cabinets, distribution boxes, cable laying, DC track circuits, axle counters, and pre-wiring of cabinets.
- Conduct site monitoring during civil construction, including for drain work, cable manhole, culvert work, under-track crossing, platform cable plan, pipe laying, drain work between tracks, cable trough covers and track laying
- Conduct site inspections (e.g., signal sighting as per the guidelines and instructions), identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.
- Provide support for on-site testing.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and installation teams to ensure quality and compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation according to site changes as per the procedures and guidance, including as-built records, and contribute to safe work methods.
- Lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives on site.
- Support the Project Manager in claims, risk assessment, and opportunity management.
- Eager to develop computer skills and proficient in digitizing forms.
Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid
- Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in railway or metro signalling projects.
- Strong knowledge of signalling standards, safety regulations, and interlocking systems.
- Proficient in railway signalling equipment (interlockings, point machines, track circuits, signals).
- Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety.
