Job Responsibilities
- To supervise construction projects to make sure they meet technical specifications.
- To ensure that construction projects are completed within planned cost and time.
- To keep accurate records of material and labor costs incurred in the construction process.
- To monitor the progress of the construction work and performance of the site workers at the site.
- To assist the Project Director and Project Manager in creating schedule for the construction project.
- To convey information about the progress of the project and performance of the site workers to the Project Director and Project Manager.
- To ensure the smooth day to day operation of work activities at the construction site.
- To maintain good relationship with site workers, subcontractors and suppliers.
- To ensure that any change in project plan is executed by subcontractors.
- To ensure that the project is executed in compliance with the laws, state regulations and requirements.
- To identify any potential problem at the site and work to prevent it.
- To assist in liaising and communicating with governmental officers during any and all external inspections and audits being conducted on the project or on the company.
- To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.
Requirement:
- Minimum Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- At least 2 years’ experience in construction site supervision (fresh graduates with internship/trainee experience may be considered).
- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) – for reporting purposes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Willing to travel or be based at project sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
