Responsibilities:
- – Assist SHO in the development and implementation of the project’s Safety and Health Plan.
- Conduct daily site inspections, safety walks, and audits to identify and address hazards.
- Monitor high-risk activities (e.g., working at height, lifting operations, confined space entry) and ensure all subcon follow appropriate Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
- Deliver toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and induction training to workers and subcontractors.
- Report unsafe acts, near misses, and incidents; conduct initial investigations and prepare reports for corrective actions.
- – Conduct TBM&Safety Induction Training to all site personnel.
- Ensure proper usage and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce compliance.
- Liaise with site personnel, subcontractors, consultants, and authorities on safety-related matters.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
- 3+ years of working experience in industrial construction site safety.
- Valid CIDB Yellow Book holder, scaffholder, lift supervisor or other related certs are plus.
- Thorough knowledge of Malaysian OSHA laws, DOSH regulations, risk assessments, and HSE best practices.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, mandarin is a plus.
