- Install, configure, and maintain security and fire protection systems, including alarm systems, CCTV cameras, access control systems, and fire alarms.
- Conduct routine inspections and tests of security and fire protection equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Diagnose and repair system faults and malfunctions promptly.
- Perform preventative maintenance on security and fire protection systems to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers and team members.
- Collaborate with the sales team to assist in system design and provide technical expertise during the sales process.
- Keep accurate records of all service and maintenance activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in security and fire protection systems.
Qualifications:
- Technical or vocational training in electronics or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a technician in the security and fire protection industry.
- Strong knowledge of security and fire protection systems, including alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and fire alarms.
- Familiarity with electrical and electronic components.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to customer locations as needed.
