UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub 2) is a newly set up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of UOB Group Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
About the Department
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.
Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior RPA Developer who has deep expertise in Blue Prism to lead the design, development, and deployment of intelligent automation solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and ensure automation delivery aligns with strategic goals.
- Lead the end-to-end development of complex RPA workflows using Blue Prism.
- Architect scalable, maintainable, and secure RPA solutions.
- Perform code reviews, quality assurance, and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with business units to analyze and document automation requirements.
- Mentor junior developers and assist in their technical growth.
- Manage deployments, updates, and bot lifecycle.
- Integrate RPA with APIs, databases, and third-party systems as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced production issues.
- Contribute to RPA governance, standards, and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Min 5 years of RPA development experience with at least 3 years in Blue Prism.
- Certified Blue Prism Developer (and ideally Blue Prism Professional Developer).
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex automation projects.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, APIs, SQL, and system integration.
- Familiarity with security, exception handling, and bot orchestration strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AI/ML, OCR tools (e.g., ABBYY), or intelligent automation platforms.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience with control room management and Blue Prism infrastructure setup.
