Job Descriptions:
- Assist customers in selecting suitable frames, lenses, and eyewear accessories
- Support Optometrists during eye examinations when needed
- Perform eyewear measurements, adjustments, and minor repairs
- Ensure all optical quality standards are met in frame fitting and lens dispensing
- Manage inventory of frames, lenses, and optical products
- Handle eyewear orders, including verification of prescriptions, materials, and customer pickups
- Coordinate with labs for order processing and insurance verification
- Maintain accurate filing of invoices and patient records
- Provide an excellent in-store customer experience with product knowledge and fashion sense
- Contribute to merchandising and product displays to enhance customer appeal
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support daily optical operations
Job Requirements:
- Prior experience in the optical or retail eyewear industry is an advantage
- Strong sales and customer service skills with a high level of initiative
- Fashion-conscious with an eye for matching frames to customer preferences
- Familiarity with optical tools, frame adjustments, and repair is a plus
- Insurance and billing knowledge is an added advantage
- Able to work flexibly to meet patient and operational schedules
- Excellent communication (spoken and written) and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate; experience with Microsoft Office is helpful
- Team-oriented and adaptable to a fast-paced retail environment
- Experience in optometry settings or assisting opticians is a plus but not required
